Astrophotography at the Veluwe Logbook, results, lessons learned

About this site

Astrophotography is a specialised type of photography that entails taking photographs of items in the night sky such as planets, stars, and deep sky objects.

The Veluwe is the place where I live. It is a fairly dark area in The Netherlands.

In 2005 I started this hobby with a Minolta snapshot camera on a fixed tripod. Since august 2008 it has become more serious and I started a logbook to write down my increasing experience and knowledge. Since september 2009 I make autoguided images with a 80mm APO refractor.

I started this weblog in december 2009. See blogs for the posts.

My astrophoto results can be viewed under results. From there: click on titles to view detail information about the image and click on the thumbnails to view a larger image.

Newest results are in My portfolio. In the  future I will move all results to my portfolio.

Thanks for looking.
